Family benefits from attending FAC
It has been said, families that pray together stay together. How true! At FAC, we promote the family unit whether it is the traditional dad, mom, and kids or single adult or single parent with kids. The truth is families who attend church together regularly build strong communities. According to an article written by Michael Foust on www.crosswalk.com title Christian & Religious Families Happier, Less Likely to Divorce, Foust says 70 percent of husbands who attend church regularly report they are ‘very happy’ in their marriages. Fathers who attend church several times a month or more “devote at least two hours a week more in youth-related activities” and “are significantly more likely to engage in one-on-one activities with their school-age children” and “are also at least 65 percent more likely to report praising and hugging their children very often” compared to fathers who don’t have any religious affiliation. The article continues by saying marriages are strongest when the husband and wife attend religious services together.
Our children need moms and dads to be active in church attendance. The fact is children are influence the most during their development years. During these years, parents have a tremendous responsibility to influence them through a variety of means. However, one of the greatest influence is consistent church attendance and religious involvement and the statistics proves it.
Our desire at FAC is to support each family with Scriptural education on raising children and guiding children through the Scriptures as they development into adults. We accomplish this support and guidance through a vibrant Sunday School program, dynamic Kinetic and Hyphen ministries (12-35 single), and uplifting Family ministry. Our children will grow into adulthood, it is our desire to raise respectable citizens positively impacting communities, God-fearing individuals who shares Christ love with others continually edifying others, and ultimately Godly parents for the next generation to come.
Families that attend FAC learn, develop, and reproduce to the next generation and build strong communities. If you don’t regularly attend a local church, we would love for you to join our church family…it’s a great place to raise your family!
